Shelby Pope is a doctorally prepared dual-certified family nurse practitioner and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with advanced education in lifestyle and functional medicine modalities.

She graduated from

The University of Tulsa

with her doctoral degree as a family nurse practitioner and then pursued her psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certification through Purdue University Global. She is an ACLM certified lifestyle medicine professional and ANCB certified addiction registered nurse-advanced practice. She has also completed postdoctoral education in personalized and obesity medicine. She has a diverse clinical background with experience in stroke specialty nursing, cardiovascular ICU, urgent care, rural primary care, and outpatient substance use treatment.

Shelby is a proud momma of two young children who continually inspire her. She and her supportive husband, John, have enjoyed over a decade of marriage. In her free time, Shelby loves running, relaxing with a book in her backyard hammock, and exploring nature with her family.

Why Holiatry Was Founded

Holiatry Health and Wellness was founded in response to a broken medical system, one focused on sick care rather than healthcare. Recognizing that her practice philosophy was not aligned with traditional medicine and equipped with her passion for preventative health, Shelby set out to provide a better way in which to empower patients.

Holiatry provides evidenced-based, whole-person, personalized and prescriptive lifestyle guidance to address the root cause of client complaints.
